Veteran Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o has praised Mr. Robert Coleman for establishing an impressive Astro turf facility to enhance sporting activities in Ghana.

The Cameroonian was in Ghana to participate in the fourth Fifa 11 for Health programme.

The professional footballer was joined by Fifa chief medical officer Prof. Dvorak to train school children on ways to prevent health problems in their sporting lives particularly in football.

During the drilling and interaction session, Samuel Eto’o toured the 700-seater capacity Wembley sports complex built by Mr. Robert Coleman and congratulated him for establishing such an impressive edifice.

The Fifa 11 for Health activities seek to continue educating youths on general wellbeing and safety, after covering 500 schools across the country with 1000 teachers and about 30, 000 students trained.

Fifa believes that Ghana has excelled and that’s why it is the first country in the world to have the fourth programme,” Dr Pambo, project coordinator, told the GFA’s official website last month.

The Wembley sports complex is situated inside the Kotobabi Community, and boast of football, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts.
