Asamoah Gyan Says He Is Fit For World Cup Qualifiers

The Black Stars captain has declared full fitness ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifying clashes against Comoros. Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has announced his return from injury ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifying second round slated for later this month. The 29-year-old Shanghai SIPG striker missed Ghanas last two games against Rwanda, in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and Canada, in an international friendly match. Ghana will face Comoros in a double header for the 2018 World Cup qualifying second round on November 13 and 17. I am ok now and if anyone wants to judge me he should judge me when I am on the pitch and fully fit, Gyan told Asempa FM. I have had some injury issues in the past but I am ready to go now. However, it remains unclear whether coach Avram Grant would include the teams all-time top scorer in the squad travelling to Comoros for the first leg. Gyan returned home on Tuesday following the end of the Chinese Super League season.
