The ex-Ghana forward hits out against the deputy Ghana trainer for recent criticism of home-based footballers. Former Ghana striker Willie Klutse has lashed out at local Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu for �unsavoury� remarks on his players. Konadu claims that Ghana-based players have a �weak psyche�, which has accounted for their continuous struggle to earn call-ups to the main outfit. The team lost the return leg of the 2016 African Nations Championship qualifiers against Cote d�Ivoire 1-0 and thus crashed out of the campaign. �I think coaches like Konadu need a psychologist seriously,� Klutse told Starr FM. �His mindset about these local players is negative. If I don�t see anything good about you, I won�t waste my time on you. �If you are a coach and you see a problem in the national team, you need to voice [it out]. �As a national team coach, you have the opportunity to talk to the management committee on what you need to get results. �If not, you need a psychologist if you're not bold enough to demand for what would get the best out of players. Ghana won silver at the South Africa 2014, but will be absent for the first time from the biennial tournament, holding in Rwanda next January.
