Ghana vs Comoros: Grant Names Starting Line-Up, Asamoah Gyan Out
Black Stars Coach Avram Grant has named his team to start Friday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Comoros Islands. In the starting line-up of the Israeli coach is Abdul Majeed Waris, who was recently handed a six-match ban in the French Ligue 1.
Conspicuously missing is Captain Asamoah Gyan, who is making an injury return to the squad. 2015 CAF Champions League winner Solomon Asante gets a place in the starting line-up just like Baba Rahman, who missed the team’s last friendly draw against Canada.
The qualifier will be played at the Stade Said Mohammed Cheikh in Moroni.

Defenders: Harrison Afful, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye and Baba Rahman
