Ghana Defender Lawrence Lartey Signs Two-Year Deal With Ajax Cape Town
Ghana defender Lawrence Lartey has signed a two-year deal with South African Premier League side Ajax Cape Town from Ghana Champions Ashanti Gold. GHANAsportsonline.com can confirm.
The 22-year-old officially sealed his move to the ABSA Premier League side after undergoing a successful medical on Monday.
The contract will hence see the Ghana U23 skipper at Parow for the next two seasons.
Lartey caught the interest of Ajax manager Roger De Sá after he excelled in a trial with the Club.
The highly-rated defender was a member of the Ashanti Gold team that won the 2014/15 First Capital plus Premier League.
He could be available for selection when Ajax takes on SupersSport United in a League game on Saturday.
