Every year, Forbes comes out with multiple list on the most successful people in different categories. Businessmen and women, athletes, the richest women, top billionaires, and celebrities. It's a small look into the back end of businesses that we've all grown to love.

Athletics seems to be the only place where we hear about people's contracts. It's international news when a high profile athlete signs a new deal or moves on to a new team in free agency so the leagues take advantage of that. It gives the up and comers added motivation to work their tails off to become as good as they can be.

 You never really hear about how much investment bankers made off of each business deal... Until Forbes drops their lists.

We all know that many of the celebrities we see all over the media make a lot of cash for whatever they do. Athletes, Hollywood stars, and musicians alike are all raking in the dough. It's no accident that they made this list.

What we don't know is exactly what they make. Take Robert Downey Jr., for example. You probably assume he makes a lot to play Iron Man in the Marvel films, but the number is actually quite staggering. Same goes for the musicians and what their tours bring in.
