Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor aka Efya will be headlining the annual “Girl Talk Concert” for the next three years. 

This revelation was made public on Tuesday evening during the launch of the 2015 edition of the event at Surfline office in Osu, Accra.

Boss of EKB Records, Kiki Banson at the launch said his outfit after traveling to some African countries to search for the next female act to headline this year’s event finally arrived at the decision of choosing Efya after watching her on stage for over two hours at +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in Accra. According to him, Efya’s energy and attitude on stage convinced his team that she can be the face of the brand “Girl Talk Concert” for the next three years.

The multiple award-winning songstress known for hit songs like “Gingam Too Much”, “Forgetting Me”, “Jorley” and many others expressed joy for being the next act to headline the show for the next three years. She further promised to take the show higher than it was.

Efya expressing her feelings after she was contacted to headline the show, she revealed that “It was a great feeling. This is girl talk you know?. It is a good and great show. I watched it from when I was in university and Becca used to headline it and she is an amazing person, someone i look up to. Now i get to headline the show that I have honoured and looked up t so it is really a great feeling and I am excited about it. I cannot wait to show everybody how good is going to be like”
