Asamoah Gyans Rape/Sodomy Docket At Attorney General Department Office MISSING

The 21-year-old university student at the center of the Asamoah Gyan alleged rape controversy, Ms. Sarah Kwablah, filed fresh charges of rape and sodomy against Gyan at the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) at the Ministries Police Station in Accra.

For close to 6 months now, nothing has been heard of the case – though Asamoah Gyan is in the country.

Ghanacelebrities.com visited the office of the Attorney General to do a follow-up on the case only for a source who pleaded anonymity disclose that the docket to the case is missing.

Dr. Maurice Ampaw, the lawyer to Sarah, told the press some months back that the formal complaint made at DOVVSU was to enable them to pursue the criminal case against the Black Stars Captain. He also said at the time that his client had also served notice that she was preparing to sue Gyan for failing to take responsibility for her 12-week pregnancy.

Ghanacelebrities.com is also well informed that at the time Sarah filed her charges at Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) at the Ministries Police Station in Accra, Gyan’s lawyer, lawyer Kisi Agyabeng, promised the CID on the case to present Asamoah to the police for interrogation but he never did.

The CID in charge is said to have once driven to Asamoah Gyan’s house and was told the latter was inside. He waited outside the house (in his police official car) to invite Gyan to the police station for investigation. For many hours Asamoah did not come out of the house to see him, so he left.

Ghanacelebrities.com is also getting names of some alleged big politicians who are doing all they can to stop the police from pursuing the case.
