My Disability Will Not Halt My Dream-Young Aboah

Richard Aboah, a 12 year old pupil of Wisdom International School  who is disabled in both hands has decided to pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer.

     Aboah has therefore joined the Action Boys FC based at Kitase . 

     Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Aboah said he started playing football some years ago, because some of his friends discouraged him that, he could not play football due to his disability, but after several thoughts and encouragement from a brother he decided to give it a try.

     The young midfielder, who hails from Gyankama a town after Aburi, expressed his desire  to play active football and win honors for the country.

    He said, he feels delighted anytime he joins his colleagues to play football and appreciates the contribution and support he gets from them.

     Aboah advised all young people with any form of disability, who have sight set on any career to be confident and always do  their best in everything they do.
