Boxer Joshua Clottey has lost his father, Ali Attuquaye Clottey on Tuesday after a short illness.
The father of the former world champion was 63 – he battled some illness at his James Town residence until he was ‘knocked out’ unfortunately.
According to residents - Ali Attuquaye Clottey’s death comes as surprise to his son who is currently out of the country for a bout.
Reports says Joshua will would cut short his stay in the USA and is likely to arrive in Ghana today for the necessary funeral arrangements due to their Islamic canons.
