"No Photos At Busta Rhymes Show"-Organisers

Information available to peacefmonline indicates that no individual or media person will be allowed to take photos or video footage at the Busta Rhymes Live in Ghana Concert, scheduled to come off at the Accra International Conference Center, tonight at 8pm. Speaking on Peace FMs Entertainment Review this afternoon, Juno, the Public Relations Officer of CharterHouse, organizers of the event, said they have a contract with the promoters of Busta Rhymes from America, which limits the extent to which the hip-hop super star will be exposed to the media and the public. Juno, also added that their contract with Busta Rhymes is only to perform on stage as they could not secure the rights for recording of his performance on stage, both audio and visuals for re-broadcasting. There have to be some restrictions of coverage as to who is going to film. In view of this we had to reach an agreement with media men who are going to need footages from the show, that we will provide them the footages after the show, so that we can control people from breaching the contract we have with them (promoters of Busta Rhymes from America), Juno stated. Asked if patrons of the event will be allowed to take shots of Busta Rhymes with their mobile phones, Juno said mobile phone is a smaller device and quality of pictures of the phone is far lower than those of a professional photographer or a digital camera. It is going to be difficult to prevent people from using their phones we will do our best to control it, she added. Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report (at about 4pm), Busta Rhymes who is scheduled to perform at 8pm tonight, had not arrived in Ghana yet. He is expected to address the press at the African Regency Hotel, at 6pm this evening, before the show. More details coming up.
