RE: Diamond Appiah Attacks NPP

Dear Diamond,

In your zeal to respond to the friendly advice I offered you freely, you went to territories which defy conventional logic. Instead of attacking me, and that is, if I deserved to be attacked, which, in my considered opinion, I do not, you sought to rope Nana Akuffo Addo and Hon.Kennedy Agyapong into the whole equation. I find this move of yours to be highly untenable.

It is the height of irresponsibility for someone who claims to be the voice of women and the youth to stoop to such a low level of resorting to inviting people who have nothing to do with this issue into it. It couches you as immatured.

It is a betrayal of your intelligence to attack Nana Addo for the 'sins' of his party member. Subjecting what I said apropos the post on your wall announcing the fact that your party delegates had selected you to represent them in the upcoming race, to critical scrutiny, one gets the impression that what I wrote about the issue did not deserve a response as negative as the one you wrote. In effect, my comment did not warrant the insolent response you supplied.

You might have gained notoriety when it comes to vilifying people within the entertainment industry, you should let it stay there, for this is a different ball game altogether. This arena is for people with a higher sense of maturity.

You also seem to harbour the mistaken impression that I attacked you on the flimsy excuse that you are a woman. This assumption is quite interesting but way off beam. I do not make it my hobby to attack women. I criticize whoever needs to be criticized, irrespective of sex. Moreover, you are not a woman yet. Your posturing, acidic responses and wayward utterances make you more a girl than a real woman. Your burning desire to use Nana Addo as the springboard to achieve political stardom will prove futile eventually. It beats my wildest imagination why you would not address your concerns to me but overstretched yourself to rope in innocent people.
You were under no obligation to embrace my advice, so I am at sixes and sevens why you would go to that length to attack my party's leader.

If you were not a complete novice in this game, you would have channelled your energies into attacking President Mahama who has been entrusted with our taxes to manage the affairs of this country, a job he has woefully failed to execute to our expectations. If Mahama were doing what was expected of him, would you have jumped ship to pitch camp with UPP since you went across the entire country in 2012, canvassing for votes for him?

In my considered opinion, your strange decision to maroon Mahama's NDC for a lesser known outfit in the disabled shape of Odike's UPP stems from the fact that you were sidelined in the awards of contracts, unlike Selassie Ibrahim who urged most of you to rally behind JM, only for her to be rewarded with the choicest of contracts, at your expense.

If you are so much spoilt for a battle, look at John Mahama, the man you campaigned for, and not Nana Addo, for he has not been mandated yet by Ghanaians to man our taxes.

Diamond, you pose no threat whatsoever to the MP of Trobu Constituency. At best, you are adding to the numbers he will deal decisively with in the upcoming elections.

Lest I forget, your idea about the work of an MP needs upgrading. You seem misinformed or uninformed, and that is a huge testament to the incontrovertible fact that you need education on the subject matter.
