President John Dramani Mahama has been accused of thievery by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition NPP, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako.

'Chairman Wontumi' as popularly called alleged that the president is looting from government coffers to enrich himself – instead of to help the nation solve its challenges he has created.

According to him, President Mahama has virtually collapsed “everything good created by President Kufour. He is not working. He is absolutely doing nothing to help the country.”

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie', 'Chairman Wontumi' further asserted that - “Because the President is not working, he has paid huge amount of monies to some media houses for propaganda.”

He noted that the NPP communication team will soon “ignore” some media houses he claimed are working for the President.
