Bugre Naabu Condemns President Mahama

Outspoken Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugre Naabu has described as pedestrian and infant tricks by the John Mahama-led government to lure Konkombas to vote for him again during the 2016 November polls.

He said the ill-advised appointment of a Konkomba at the last minute by President Mahama is a propagandist strategy which all Konkombas are aware of and will never make a mistake by voting for the NDC led by President Mahama in the upcoming elections.

President Mahama in his latest ministerial reshuffle appointed Mr. Kenneth Wujangi, a Management and Integrated Rural Development Specialist and a Konkomba as a Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of operations at the Presidency.

But Mr. Bugre Naabu says the President and his party acted hurriedly to counter his criticisms that the NDC was anti-Konkomba.

According to him, the late appointment of Mr. Kenneth Wujangi is an indication that the President Mahama-led government is taking Konkombas for granted. The NPP Chairman has incessantly descended on the NDC government over what he describes as the disregard for Konkombas during political appointments.

Daniel Bugre Naabu maintained that the NDC government does not recognize Konkombas because the appointment of Mr. Kenneth Wujangi has no impact on Konkombas considering the time of his appointment.

He questioned the rationale behind the late appointment of a Konkomba in President Mahama’s government since there was ample time to appoint Konkombas since he took over office after the death of his former boss President John Evans Atta-Mills.

He further described the new appointees including the Northern Regional Minister designate Mr. Abdallah Abubakari as injury-time players.
