Presby Moderator Cautions EC boss

Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt.  Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey has warned the EC boss, Mrs Charlotte Osei to be very circumspect in her dealings as she is making too much mistakes which would not help her accomplish a good mission on the job given her.

“I have been following carefully from a distance and the dialogue going on, the EC boss presently makes too many mistakes and I hope that she would minimize her mistakes,” he said.

According to him the Electoral Commissioner must talk less and work more behind the scene as her work demands criticisms from public, but that should not be her focus at all since it can jeopardize her work when she listens to most of such comments.

To him she has to be most concerned about how to work hard based on the laws and rules of the commission and nothing else.

He noted in an interview with Peace FM News that “you cannot set up a committee without conducting a thorough search on the background of members you want to work with . . . the electoral commissioner must work behind the scene because she cannot answer all queries as she wants to.”
