One half of sensational X-Factor duo Reggie N Bollie, Reginald Kojo Ainooson aka Reggie Zippy has finally opened up about on allegations leveled again him few weeks after the X-Factor 2016 finals.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Peace FM's "Entertainment Review", Reggie admitted that he had some link with the said lady but it was a "silly mistake" which shouldn't have even happened.

"It was a silly mistake on my part and I will say that it was something that the fame that we got, those are some of the things that came with it".

The X-Factor 2016 finalist however, added that most of the reports and audio conversations that was released were all fabricated.

"Most of the stories that were put out there weren't really true, some of the audio tapes that were released were all lies. They were well edited audios but at the end of the day, we learnt from it and I thank God that I didn't get into any intimate relationship with her and I didn't do anything physical with that particular woman".

Adding that they have moved on, he said; "I have learnt my lessons from it and we've moved on. Luckily enough, we've got very supportive wives who are always behind us so we are fine and we are really happy".

Asked if the cheating scandal affected his group and family, Reggie said it didn't affect him in anyway.

"We are fine and we are doing great everything is going on perfectly".

According to Reggie, they flew home last week to spent time with their families and they are back on the road for the X-Factor Tour. He said his wife celebrated her birthday few days ago and they had a good time together.       

Few weeks after their overwhelming performance at the X-Factor 2016 finals, it emerged that Reggie - of X-Factor’s ‘Reggie & Bollie’ fame was not much of a faithful and happily married man as he presented himself to British TV viewers.

Reggie was portrayed as a cheating husband, who lived a double life, by UK’s Daily Star—when it was revealed that the artiste spent most of November and December bombarding smitten Marie Asemota with lurid messages behind his unsuspecting wife.

Marie, 36, told the newspaper that: “Being a good husband and dad is Reggie N Bollie’s brand but in Reggie’s case it’s a fake. He is living a double life. I thought he liked me but he just used me and then dropped me.”

Marie added that “she and Reggie exchanged more than 500 texts as he shot to fame on The X Factor.”

A phone call Reggie placed to Maria was published—in which Reggie, the dad-of-three allegedly begs the British babe to meet him at hotels around the UK for sex.

This according Reggie was a well calculated attempt to bring his name in disrepute. He said his encounter with the said lady was an on and off communication between them and it didn't last beyond two weeks and he never met the lady in person.
