Hearts of Oak double gate fees

The Phobians have announced a 100 % increase in tickets for their homes games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak have confirmed the rumoured hike in their gate fees for home matches played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Attendants would be charged a double of what they used to pay to see their favourite team play at the facility, according to the club.

Hearts’ Public Relations Officer, Opare Addo, has refuted reports that the 100% hike could affect the growing attendance of the Accra-based team since the season kicked off thanks to the Phobians’ brilliant showing so far.

"If clubs like Techiman City are able to charge GHC10 at the popular stand and still have fans trooping to watch their matches, why not Hearts? Opare told Asempa FM.

"When we went to Cape Coast, most of the fans there were Hearts fans and the same thing applies to the numbers at Tarkwah. So the fans will come no matter what," he said.
