Im Yet To Find My Form Yahaya Mohammed

Aduana Stars lead striker Yahaya Mohammed, has pleaded with fans of the club, to exercise restraint, whilst he takes steps to rediscover his scoring form.

The team suffered three straight loses, but managed to pick a home win in their last game against West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), last Sunday in Match Day Four in Dormaa Ahenkro.

“Sitting home without playing any competitive football for  almost a year will definitely affect your form. The fans must understand that its not easy and journalist should not blame me for not scoring any goal in all the four matches we have played so far.” He added.

Speaking in an interview with GNA Sports in Dormaa, after the team’s training at the Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu I Sports Stadium, he said prior to signing for Aduana Stars, he had stayed away from competitive football  for 11 months and this long absence made him rusty and  kept him out of form.

“People who know me very well, know what I can do on a good day. So they have to exercise patience because in football anything can happen. I am natural defender and not a striker. I was converted into a defensive midfielder and later a striker when i played for OJ Cendis in French League One."

He attributed his poor form to the long absence and lack of competitive football, as well as his delayed transfer to Aduana Stars.

“I was on peak form while in Libya and after playing the CAF Champions League, But my transfer delayed when i decided to join Aduana Stars." He stated,
