A Puerto Rican beauty queen was de-crowned for allegedly having an ugly attitude.
Kristhielee Caride, who was named Puerto Rico's Miss Universe 2016 four months ago, was stripped of her title Thursday because she was flippant during interviews, said she didn't love cameras and skipped appearances for doctors' appointments, officials said.
"Beauty queens are not exempt from having a bad day," the 24-year-old wrote in a lengthy Facebook post announcing her dethronement. "I allowed my feelings to get in the way of my work."
