Right after child actor Abraham Attah made Ghana proud after winning Best Male Lead at the Independent Spirit Awards and presenting an award at the recently held, Oscars, The minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. (Mrs) Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare made it known that the Beast Of No Nation actor will be made a tourism ambassador.
Hon. (Mrs) Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare made this declaration when addressing a media launch of the 11th Okwahu Paragliding festival 2016.
Addressing the media in Accra, Mrs Ofosu Agyare said the young man had made Ghana proud and deserved to be celebrated.
(Mrs) Ofosu Agyare stated that, she will be hosting Abraham Attah with six(6) of his friends and family at the festival where she will hold discussions with him on a package that will see him become Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador.
After this promise, Ghanaians woke up on Wednesday to hear that actor John Dumelo has been made tourism ambassador for Ghana.
John made his new appointment known on his official Facebook page when he wrote that “Happy to be appointed tourism ambassador by the Minister of tourism.
I’m happy to promote Tourism in Ghana and also sell Ghana to the rest of the world. #exploreghana #melomoment #melotourist”
