Jesus Will Surprise Some People...

“In the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,” (2 Timothy 3: 1- 4).

Fake men of God will not continue to deceive, exploit and manipulate unsuspecting Christians in Ghana and other parts of the world forever. The end of the thugs in the pulpit will surely come. Everything that has a beginning has an ending.

Christ Jesus came into the world to establish Christianity. The Lord is the Head and Owner of the church and no apostle, prophet, bishop or archbishop owns a church. We are all mere servants called to serve at the Lord’s glorious feet. In case you do not know, Jesus Christ is not dead; He is alive. When He ascended heaven after His resurrection, He promised to return for all true Christians to dwell with Him.

Interestingly, when Jesus comes the second time, He will not come as a lamb, humble servant to be insulted, whipped, humiliated, cast down, trodden upon, pierced in both hands and feet, shamefully crowned with thorns, hanged on the tree, made to carry the sins of the world and die in-between two sinners.

Jesus is returning. Oh, yes! You can believe or doubt it; your doubt cannot prevent Him from coming. He is returning with His angelic host with power and majesty to judge the world. He will not sit on the mercy seat; He will sit on the judgment seat to reward everyone according to our deeds.

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil,” (2 Corinthians 5: 10). No one born of a woman will escape this event.

Do you know an interesting thing? Judgment will begin at the church obviously with men of God leading.

“For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4: 17)

Jesus will start judging the church. He will justly judge archbishops, bishops, vicar generals, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. The Lord will judge popes, cardinals, presbyters, moderators, general superintendents and seers. Deacons, deaconesses, catechists, elders, prayer warriors, singers, ushers and other leaders of the church will likely follow the men of God.

Many men of God, who served God deceitfully, will find themselves in the tormenting flames in hell. In her book titled, “Divine Revelation God’s Timely Warning to the Church,” Angelica Zambrano explains how the Lord Jesus gave her the opportunity to experience conditions both in heaven and in hell.

According to Angelica, she did not only find in hell people who sang in churches while they were alive on the earth but also pastors, evangelists, bishops, who preached the gospel, as well as pastors’ wives and many Christians who worshipped God faithlessly.

These days most Christians think they will make it to heaven no matter how they live their lives or indulge in sins. Thousands of believers have the wrong opinion that once they have their names written in their church books, attend church services, pay tithes, attend funerals and weddings and are known by their priests or pastors, they will automatically go to heaven.

.
No believer who served the Lord dishonestly will escape His blazing eye on the Judgment Day. On that day, Jesus will not ask about the church you attended; He will ask whether you worshipped God in Spirit and in truth. There, it will be revealed those who truly knew God and those who played games with Him.

It will not be difficult for the King of kings and Lord of lords to reward His faithful servants with a crown of righteousness and throw those who worked iniquity into the hell fire. The charge is simple! Before Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world, He had given a specific instruction to His disciples. He said: “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teach them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age,” (Matthew 28: 18- 20).

The Lord, whose other names are the Faithful Witness, Holy One of Israel, never promised in His Word that He would spare men of God who would pay huge sums of money to be ordained archbishops, bishops, apostles or reverend ministers. Christ knew that there would be charlatans who would sneak into the church and operate under witchcraft instead of His Holy Spirit to deceive many people.

One day, when Jesus was teaching His disciples, He clearly told them something that is worth meditating upon daily.

He said: “NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS TO ME, LORD, LORD will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the ONE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and many mighty works in your name? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness,” (Matthew 7: 21- 23).

Christians have been serving God since the days of Jesus but the King of Kings says NOT EVERYONE who says to me, Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. Jesus did not proclaim that if a pastor sells anointing oil at GH₵100 or takes GH₵200 as a consultation fee from sick and distressed believers, he will go to heaven.

Jesus did not say if a man of God wears designer suits and other trendy dresses, owns a mega church, television station, mansions and fleet of cars and makes noise in town, he will enter heaven.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with owning any of these things; they are not sinful. Who will not like to live a life of comfort? But Jesus said unless you do the will of His Father who is in heaven, you will go to hell.

And what is God’s will? It is God’s will for His servants to lose none of the believers He has brought under their care (John 6: 39). It is God’s will for His ministers to be holy, pure in heart, faithful, loving and heavenly-minded.

Unless a bishop sincerely preaches the gospel of Christ Jesus, learns to be humble, obedient, patient, contrite in spirit, and builds up his church members to conform to the teachings of Christ, he will suffer eternal damnation.

If a man calls himself a bishop belonging to Jesus Christ, then he must check the way he walks. He must be circumspect with his speech.

“Whoever says he abides in him (Jesus) ought to walk in the same way in which he walked,” (1 John 2: 6). We Christians must learn to convince the world that we truly know Jesus. For the Bible says…as he is so also are we in this world (1 John 4: 17). So if a bishop or a Christian does not have the attitude of Christ, then he does not know Him and is therefore a stranger.
