Terror Alert: The Fight Isn't Exclusive To Security Agencies - Karbo

Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Anthony Abayifa Karbo has urged Ghanaians to be vigilant and alert the security agencies about any security threats.

Speaking on Peace FM's'kokrokoo' programme, Anthony Abayifa Karbo noted that the "fight against terror is not exclusively for military, Police or national security" but rather the citizenry should be cautious and conscious of any suspicious thing that is likely to erupt terrorism in the nation.

Karbo, who was commenting on the recent prophecy by the SCOAN Founder TB Joshua and the subsequent terror alert from the national security apparatus, advised the citizens not to panic but gather strength to thwart the eventuality.

He further expressed varied views over criticisms against TB Joshua's prophecy and the terror leak that a Malian militant group member had revealed that Ghana was a target for the group's act of terrorism.

To him, "We shouldnt just take this fear and panic and move with it. Lets turn this fear and panic into something positive so that we all would have been awoken that as things are going, we all have to open our eyes and help the security agencies so that they can move forward.
