Foreign coaches apply for Kotoko job

Over 50 foreign coaches have applied for the coaching job at Asante Kotoko, according to reports in the media.

Kotoko could appoint a new trainer following the looming exit of head coach David Duncan who has been asked to step aside by management.

The reds are expected to take a decision on Duncan in the coming days.

However Assistant coach Michael Osei who was asked to step in as an interim coach has won all three matches since taking charge of the side.

Reports emerging from Kumasi indicate over 50 expatriate coaches have applied for the job at the Porcupine Warriors.

Further reports however indicate Michael Osei could be in charge of the team until the end of the season should he win the game against New Edubiase on Saturday.

The former Ghana League Champions are preparing for the crucial tie against the Bekwi-based Club (New Edubiase) at the Babayara Sports Stadium.
