We Are Satisfied With Michael Osei - Kotoko Operations Manager

Speculations of bringing in a new technical handler for the porcupine warriors seem to be fading out as Operations Manager for the club, George Kennedy has revealed to Peacefmonline.com that management together with the technical team and the entire playing body are solidly behind Michael Osei to be maintained as the head coach.

Recent media reports suggested Kotoko is yet to name a new coach following the step aside order given their former coach, David Duncan by the Opoku Nti led administration.

The Michael Osei led technical bench has won all three matches so far and management seems to be happy with his performance.

Kotoko beat Liberty Professionals 3-1 in Kumasi before they continued their winning form when they thumped 24 Hours FC in Tumu with a 2-0 victory.

Dreams FC’s home record was broken when Kotoko beat them 1-0 in midweek to move up the ladder to 8th.

“Kotoko winning three matches in a row was good. It has been long enough and we’re very happy.

“Issues with our coaching have been put behind us for now because Michael Osei has been very proactive, and management has a lot of confidence in him,” he disclosed.

“For now few matches played under him show he is capable of doing the job so we will give him all the support he needs as head coach of the club,” he added.

He said the Porcupine Warriors have no plans of bringing in any coach for the Kotoko job..

Kotoko hosts New Edubiase at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday.
