Black Satellites held by China in friendly

The Black Satellites of Ghana drew 2-2 with China in an international friendly used to commission the newly-built Cape Coast Stadium.
 
Ghana as part of the commissioning of the new edifice invited their counterparts from China to grace the occasion on Tuesday evening.

The game was also used to test the new facilities at the 15,000 capacity stadium.

China drew first blood after scoring in the first half before Charles Boateng got the equalizer for Ghana.

Budding talent Evans Mensah shot Ghana into the lead in the second half after striking from the edge of the penalty box before the visitors drew level late in the game.

President John Dramani Mahama together with Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpujye as well as the President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi all graced the occasions.

The new Cape-Coast Stadium will host the finals of the 2016 MTN FA Cup finals as well as Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Rwanda.
