GPL Round-up: Hearts Back To Winning Ways, Kotoko Thrash Dwarfs

Aduana Stars continued their resurgent run with a resounding 4-0 win over Dreams FC at the Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.

In-form Yahaya Mohammed scored twice to increase his goal tally to 9 with Bright Adjei and Richard Mpong getting the other two goals.
 
Accra Hearts of Oak recovered from their painful setback at the hands of Kotoko to secure a 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park to move to the top of the League table. Thanks to a second half strike from Samuel Yeboah.

A brace from Dauda Mohammed and a goal by Frank Sarfo Gyemfi ensured Kotoko grab all 3 points at the Babayara Sports Stadium by defeating struggling Ebusua Dwarfs 3-0.

Techiman City continued their impressive home record with a 3-1 triumph over WA All Stars. Ebenezer Agyapong, Stephen Manu and Issaka Ibrahim were on target for Techiman City with Matthew Andoh getting the only consolation for WA All Stars.

Elsewhere at the Sogakope Park, WAFA and Inter-Allies shared spoils as the game ended in a goalless stalemate.

Bechem United compounded the woes of Ashanti Gold after holding the defending League Champions to a 0-0 draw game at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Sekondi Hasaacas moved out of the relegation zone to the 12th spot on the table after posting an impressive 3-1 win over New Edubiase at the Essipong Stadium in Sekondi.  Thanks to a brace from Ibrahim Suleman and a superb finish by Eric Bekoe. Edubiase’s top scorer Prince Osei Antwi got a consolation for the visitors.

Liberty Professionals clash with Medeama was postponed due to the latter’s continental assignment.
