"Spio Is Vain, Conceited And Supercilious"-Ahwoi

A leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Ato Ahwoi, has taken Dr. Ekwow Spio Garbrah to the cleaners and virtually tore into his character, describing him as vain, conceited and supercilious. In an exclusive interview with peacefmonline, Mr. Ato Ahwoi literally combusted and went ballistic on the Chief Executive Officer of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organization for stating in an article that President Mills was frittering away the governments goodwill. Explaining the rationale for writing an open letter in response to scathing criticisms directed at President Mills governing style by Dr. Spio-Garbrah, Mr. Ato Ahwoi questioned why Dr. Spio-Garbrah chose not to write a private memo on the shortcomings and possible solutions to President Mills, instead of publishing them under the guise of an article on Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. According to him, Dr Spio Garbrah is expendable and not indispensable to the NDC. Sometimes when a star player is dropped from a team, people raise a lot of eyebrows questioning that decisionso Spio Garbrah will be dropped, Spio has been dropped and we are quite good about it, he added. He accused Dr. Spio Garbrah of masterminding the scandalous text messages and outrageous rumours of death about Prof Mills, adding that prior to the 2008 General elections, the former Communications Minister never ceased to harp on the health status of Prof Mills. Whenever Spio mounted a platform, his only theme was Prof Mills health, that he is sick, dont vote for him, he will die soon, Prof Mills has never won an election before, and even described him as serial loserwhy do you then want to serve in the government of someone who is on the verge of dying, why do you want to serve in the government of a serial losersIm happy Prof. Mills gave him no position, he added. Mr. Ato Ahwoi advised his colleague party member to find a new party that will sit comfortably with his haughty nature since the NDC abhors such character traits in people. He is so full of himself and insufferablehe is vain, egotistical and supercilious. NDC is not a party for arrogant peopleI know of a party that will gladly welcome his arrogance, he stressed.
