Accra Hearts of Oak Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi believes the Disciplinary Committee was fair to ask the team to play two home games behind closed doors.
 
Hearts were sanctioned by the Disciplinary Committee following the disruptive behavior from the team’s fans in their League game against WA All Stars.

Irate Fans of the Club threw bottles of water unto the pitch as a sign to show their displeasure about officiating in their 1-3 loss to All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.

This however led the DC to punish the Club by asking them to play their next two home matches without the support of their fans.

The Rainbow Club were further fine GHC12, 000 for the ill-mannered behavior by the fans.

Kenichi who led the team to defeat Hasaacas 1-0 in their midweek fixture yesterday at the Accra Stadium says the DC’s decision is on the right part.

“Yes I think is fair, it was a fair punishment but we will try hard to get the results without the fans,” he said in a post-match conference.

Hearts faces an uphill task in their next game as they travel to take on Aduana Stars in Dormaa on Sunday.
