Ghanaian defender John Mensah is a big doubt for Saturday's trip to Manchester United, says manager Steve Bruce. Mensah has been hit by an injury blow just two days before the Premier League clash with Manchester United. The 'Rock of Gibraltar', 26, picked up a thigh problem during a training session, leaving him locked in a race against time to be fit for this Saturday's game. Manager Bruce will wait until the last minute to make a decision on the player's availability but can call on plenty of options across his back line. If Mensah fails to recover in time for Saturday�s game, he will be a major doubt for Ghana�s World Cup qualifier against Benin on 10 October.
