NPP's Propaganda Strategies Won't Work Fred Agbenyo

Deputy Communications Director for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fred Agbenyo has accused members of the NPP for using propaganda and lies to destroy the good works of the Mahama led administration and his Ministers.

To him, when one carefully looks at the desperate hassles made in diverse forms by members of the largest opposition party against the current government, there would be nothing else to show that they have no campaign message for the up-coming elections.

“The motive by members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is to destroy and read negative meanings into whatever Mahama and his Ministers achieve to uplift the status of this nation. What does the NPP expect from President John Dramani Mahama when their then government couldn’t attain even half of his developmental projects. . .” he said.

“Can’t they for once put aside politics and commend the good works of the President?” he asked.

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme during a panel discussion,  he said leaders of the NPP always come in with their propaganda either in relation to the President or any prominent leader of the NDC anytime they realize the party has a good name in public domain.

He indicated that, it was the same trick they used concerning Allottey Jacobs saga just to tarnish his image and rub-off issues pertaining to the commissioning of the Komenda Sugar Factory in the Central Region.

According to him the tale against the Central Regional Chairman of the ruling NDC is never true and have no substance of truth in it as Hopeson Adoye is always behind such dubious moves instead of helping his party to solve its internal issues.

He said President Mahama in has never been a happy man when tariffs keep moving up, therefore he is shocked Ghanaians and the various opposition parties are point fingers at him for being the mastermind behind current tariff increases.
