Sack NPP Appointees, Accountants & Caterers

President John Evans Atta Mills should seriously consider sacking all directors, accountants and caterers appointed under the Kufuor-led New Patriotic Party government, a youth activist of the ruling National Democratic congress, Abednego Orstin Rawlings, has requested. According to him, all the directors, caterers and other appointees hired during ex-President Kufuors regime are now sympathizers of the opposition NPP, alleging that they will do all they can to make President Mills administration a failure. In a letter he sent to the Heritage newspaper, Mr. Rawlings added that, if President Atta Mills listened to former President Rawlingss call on him to sack the directors and appointees soon after the NDC assumed office, former Youth and Sports Minister Mohammed Mubarak Mutaka could not have been set up by the chief accountant of the sports ministry. The ruling NDC lad reminded President Mills of the recent mistake which the deputy minister of education, Dr. Annan, nearly committed, which, he said, was against the NDCs campaign promise of patronizing made-in Ghana goods. He claimed that the minister nearly allowed the NPP directors at the ministry to mislead him to import school uniforms from China to the neglect of the local-base companies. The solution lay in President Mills bringing down the axe on such appointees, Orstin Rawlings wondered, How on earth will these NPP directors and other appointees help the NDC ministers? His conviction is that, It is impossible for the NDC ministers to work with their political opponents. No matter what the President of Peace does to or for these people, they will continue to undermine the Mills regime because they cannot betray their party and its defeated presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. And one thing that should make the chief executive boldly enforce his radical view is that, the ruling party has equally competent and committed people who are ready to serve and push forward the agenda of a Better Ghana, says Rawlings. Has President Mills forgotten so soon that it is some of these persons who, not long ago, went about claiming he,t hen candidate Mills, was dead? Orstin Rawslings asked, wondering, Has he forgotten so soon all those wild utterances these NPP people made at that time? Mr. Orstin Rawlings stressed that there is no way the loyal NPP activists will appreciate President Mills achievements so the caterers they employed should not be engaged again to kill school pupils; no NPP directors should be retained to mislead NDC ministers.
