Ghanaians Are Now Satisfied With Devt Afotey Agbo

Greater Accra Regional Minister Nii Laryey Afotey Agbo says the Region is witnessing so much development that Ghanaians have stopped complaining about developments and only focusing on what he termed as their ‘daily bread’.

The regional minister says Ghanaians are satisfied and the only thing left is for them to express their gratitude to the Mahama-led government by retaining it in the upcoming elections.

“Nobody is talking about developmental projects in Accra as a problem now which means that we are really doing well as far as development and infrastructure is concerned and we are very happy. The only complain you hear them talking about is their daily bread and what they will eat.

“Every Ghanaian has a price to pay for the developments we are bringing on board because as soon as you rent a house, you then have responsibilities to take care of. I know that some people are also incited to complain and even claim that we are doing nothing” he said.

Nii Afotey Agbo was speaking at the opening of the annual Regional Coordinating Council meeting in Accra.

The event brought together 16 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in order to review their works.

Mr. Afotey Agbo says the capital has experienced more development during his tenure than any other administration.

He expressed concern that some assemblies abandon old projects and embark upon new ones, cautioning them to ensure the total completion of old projects before embarking on new ones.
