The Black Stars will play in a newly-designed jersey when the Africa Cup of Nations starts in Angola early next year. Puma, the best apparel sponsors of Ghana�s national team ever, have unveiled the new paraphernalia for the continental tournament. Just like the many of the African teams, Ghana�s shirt is manufactured by Puma and follows the same template as the others. The shirt is mainly white featuring green trims around the edges of the shirt and also features a faded black star on the top right part of the shirt since the team is nicknamed �the Black Stars�. The national emblem is placed on the top left while the Puma logo is placed on the top center part of the shirt. Ghana are currently first in Group 4 of the African Nations Cup qualifiers and looks like they are going to finish as Group winner after winning four matches out of four played. Ghana have scored 7 goals and conceded nil. Ghana have won the ANC four times with the last one won in 1982.
