Black Stars to know Group opponents for FIFA World Cup on June 24

Ghana’s Black Stars will know their Group opponents for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on June 24.
 
CAF will hold the draw for the final stage of the qualifiers at their headquarters in Cairo in three weeks time.

Ghana is among five countries that will be seeded for the draw which will be the bases for the team’s to qualify for the Global soccer fiesta in Russia.

Ghana, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Egypt and Senegal are in pot 1 meaning none of these teams will play each other in the qualifiers.

The Black Stars could however be facing the likes of Nigeria, Cameroon, Morocco, South Africa and Tunisia who were all pitted in different pots.

Ghana eliminated Comoros to reach the Group stages of the qualifiers.

Winners in each Group will automatically qualify for the World Cup in 2018.
