Spio Donates T-shirts To NDC Parliamentary Nominees

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Ekow Spio Grabrah has donated 200 pieces of branded campaign T-shirts each to some parliamentary nominees of the National Democratic Congress to support their campaign.

Dr. Spio Grabrah advised the National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary nominees to use their platforms to not only campaign for themselves, but for President Mahama as well. According to him, because every parliamentary candidate of the party will campaign on the track record of the president, it is counterproductive for them not to project the image of the president.

Dr. Spio Gabrah remarked that “many MP’s have t-shirts that has just their photographs…, but I think you know very well that each parliamentarian or candidate is running on the track records of the NDC and that of the President Mahama, so if you don’t promote the President in your area, you may not succeed well yourself.” He made the remarks when the friends of Spio Gabrah made donation of 200 pieces of branded campaign T-shirts each to ten parliamentary aspirants from across the country as part of the first phase of support he intends to give them. The parliamentary nominees submitted artwork for their campaign posters to Friends of Spio Garbrah who used it produce free T-shirts for them to campaign with.

The group further called on other parliamentary nominees of the party to submit their artworks for them to receive similar support. The parliamentary nominees who were part of the first batch of recipients include brother of the late President Mills, Samuel Attah Mills for the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Constituency of the Central Region, Sam Fletcher, Michael Ofori Ofei, Yaw Brogya Genfi and Betty Kroshie among others.
