Mahama Is Not Using His Head...He Is Talking Cheap!

"...sometimes, when people want power, they don’t use their head too much but resort to falsehood but thank God the good people of Ghana are discerning and wide awake to know the lies which some political leaders use to gain cheap political points," so says a leading member of the ruling party.

Though the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially decided not to take part in the 2016 IEA Presidential Debate, this decision is not stopping some of its national executives, especially the deputy General Secretary of the NDC, George Lawson from criticising Dr Edward Mahama, Presidential Candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC).

According to the Deputy Chief Scribe, it is ‘cheap talk’ for the PNC Presidential Candidate to say that he will as President of Ghana half the unemployment situation in the country within two years of his reign.

The Presidential Candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Mahama has promised during his encounter with the Institute of Economic Affairs’ Presidential Debate that he will tackle the unemployment situation in the country by halving it within two years in office.

Dr. Mahama added that President Mahama has failed in his fight against corruption in the country as he has not been able to punish any of his members who are at large in the various corrupt engagements in his government.

But reacting to Dr Mahama’s statement on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, George Lawson described the promise by the PNC Flagbearer to halve unemployment in the country and eradicate corruption as simply ‘cheap talk’ which he cannot do within the time frame given.

What is he said is cheap talk because if he wants to do something, he must go into detail and come up with how he will go about it and not just mention the things he will do. He is just throwing words about”, he chided.

...sometimes, when people want power, they don’t use their head too much but resort to falsehood but thank God the good people of Ghana are discerning and wide awake to know the lies which some political leaders use to gain cheap political points”, he fumed.
