Akufo-Addo Ends Central Regional Tour

A government under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would never implement Aliens Compliance Order, to deport foreigners as being speculated by opponents of the party.

“Under no circumstances can the NPP government will implement Aliens Compliance Order against Zongo Communities if elected into power”.

The Flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made this known when he paid a courtesy call on the Winneba Zongo Chief, Alhaji Sulemana Salaga to end his five days tour of the Central Region.

According to Nana Akufo-Addo NPP is rather for Muslims and urged them to ignore the falsehood of other opponents as the campaign for 2016 elections draw near.

Nana Akufo-Addo said he chose Alhaji Dr Mamudu Bawumia who is a Muslim as running mate, an indication that NPP does not hate Zongo communities.

The NPP Presidential Candidate gave assurance that a policy would be implemented to institute Zongo Development Fund to facilitate the development of these areas throughout the country.

He therefore asked the Zongo Chiefs and the youth to support the NPP to come to power.

Nana Akufo-Addo also paid a courtesy call on Omanhene of Effutu, Neenyi Kobena Ghartey VII.

Their discussion was behind closed doors but reliable source indicated that their discussion was on peaceful elections in November 23.

The NPP Flagbearer addressed supporters, taxi drivers, traders and others at the Winneba Main lorry park to solicit for votes.

Mr Alex Afenyo Markin, MP for Effutu also addressed the supporters with assurance to Nurses and Teacher Trainees allowances would be restored by Nana Addo government.

At Awutu Senya West Constituency Nana Akufo-Addo called on Nai Agyeman Whettey, Omanhene of Awutu Beraku.

He addressed the teeming supporters at Awutu and introduced Neenyi George Andah, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya to the people.

According to Nana Akufo-Addo President John Dramani Mahama does not deserve second term because of mismanagement of the economy.

He assured Ghanaians that there are better times ahead and asked the people to vote massively for NPP in November.

He said Cote D’ Ivoire economy is booming fast and the living condition of the people improving because of good policies and programmes of their new government.

According to him the good agricultural police of the Ivorian government has further increased cocoa production and foodstuff for export and local consumption.
