Medeama draw blank with MO Bejaia in CAF Confederations Cup

Medeama SC could not capitalize on home advantage as they drew goalless with Algerian Club MO Bejaia in the CAF Confederations Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Mauves were hoping to record their first win in the Group stage after suffering a 3-1 defeat to TP Mazembe in their opening game.

Coach Prince Owusu’s side failed to utilize on the opportunities that came their way especially in the first half of the game.

The absence of midfielder Kwesi Donsu was felt as the home side lost some bite in the game.

The result sees Medeama at the third position in Group B with 1 point after two matches.

The Ghana FA Cup Champions will next travel to face Tanzanian side Young Africans.
