Backstreet Boys' Brian Gets Swine Flu

he Backstreet Boys have been forced to cancel their New York City promotional tour because member Brian Litrell has been diagnosed with the swine flu. The other three members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and AJ McLean have seen a doctor and are not showing any symptoms."We were really looking forward to spending time with our closest fans and friends in NYC... I hope we can come back soon and do everything we can to help," Litrell said in a statement Monday. As a preventive measure, the doctor prescribed Tamiflu to the group and their touring party, who had just returned to the states from Tokyo. The pop band were forced to cancel several of their New York appearances, including their NYC Hard Rock Cafe signing and the group's CBS 'Early Show' performance on Tuesday October 6th. Both will be rescheduled for a later date. The rest of the band's promotional schedule for this week has not been determined.
