The Black Satellites will face Senegal on Saturday in the first leg qualifier for a place at the African Youth Championship.

Ghana U20 team will play their Senegalese counterpart on Saturday in Dakar for a place in the 2017 African Youth Championship.

The Black Satellites were drawn bye in the first round, and eliminated Ethiopia 5-2 on aggregate in the second phase of the qualifiers while Senegal dispatched Tunisia to reach the final round to be played home and away.

Head coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani has announced an 18-man squad for the trip to Dakar, comprising of Manchester City youngster Yaw Yeboah, captain Kingsley Fobi and Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed. Dramani is anticipating a tough test against junior Teranga Lions.

“At this level, there is little that is known about them but that is why this will be very difficult,” he told Citi FM.

“I can’t anticipate what will happen but that is football. We have to keep to our game and ensure that we are very compact.”

Zambia will host the competition between February 26 and March 16.
