Ramires' decision to swap Chelsea for the Chinese Super League last January was a shock to many at Stamford Bridge.

The 29-year-old Brazilian started life with Jiangsu Suning in perfect fashion, scoring on his debut, but a misdemeanour on Saturday saw him sent off following the full-time whistle.

In an ugly brawl following his team's 2-1 defeat by Shandong Luneng Taishan on Saturday, Ramires was dismissed and didn't take too kindly to the decision. After seeing red, the Champions League winner had to be held back by team-mates as he tried to remonstrate with the referee's decision.
