Jerry Akaminko rejoins Turkish Club Eskisehirspor

Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko has returned to Turkish outfit Eskisehirspor months after terminating his deal with the Club.

The Ghanaian international left Eskisehirspor before the end of the season after returning from a long-term injury.

The 25-year-old has signed a new three-year deal with the Club which will play in the Turkish second-tier next season.

Akaminko sat out of the team’s campaign last season after sustaining an injury whilst on National duty with the Black Stars.

The former Heart of Lions center-back twisted his ankle in a pre-World Cup friendly against the Netherlands which had him missing the entire League season at the Club.

He rejoins the former Super Lig campaigners to revive his career after more than a year of inactive football.

He recently had a trial at Major League Soccer side Real Salk Lake which yielded no result.
