The Volta Regional branch of the National Democratic Congress has expressed gratitude to President Dramani Mahama for appointing Mr John Bless Oti, the Member of Parliament for Nkwanta North, as a Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development.
A press release, signed by Mr Simon Amegashie-Viglo, the Regional Secretary of the party, copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the appointment demonstrated President Mahama’s “abiding confidence” in the youth as major stakeholders in national development.
It expressed the hope that after the Parliamentary approval, Mr Oti would work hard to justify the confidence reposed in him by the President.
