Mirror Ball Black & Gold Beams With Class!!

We are now cruising downhill towards the finish line of 2016 as the June Mirror Ball was observed with all the pomp and paegentry that befits a world class do like our very own premium month ender.

What an eventful month it was as we experienced another dreadful June with its implicit flooding of Accra.  The world bid farewell to the “Greatest” sportsman to ever have been televised.

The larger than life iconic images of Mohammed Ali filled media headlines and front pages across the globe as the world came to grips with the reality that a real son of humanity had “returned to his village”.

There were glorious tributes that filled the airwaves across all spectra of media, all going to show the legacy produced by an endearing and courageous human spirit.  As if that was not enough of a jolt, in an unprecedented move, the British public voted to exit the European Union as unceremoniously as the lights would go off during a Euro 2016 match on a flat screen in Accra.

While the world was filled with drama there was another nation pursuing “different strokes”  in the environs of the Marina Mall at SOHO restaurant and bar.

The Black & Gold edition of the Old school event that Ghana has come to adore for almost five years – The Mirror Ball, was as fun and classic as the coreographed formations that took over the dance floor under the auspices of DJ Blow.

No one need tell you that where few are gathered, spirits are high and this was exactly the ambience as Mumm Champagne rolled out its traditional welcome hospitality  for the well-dressed guests  whose black outfits with gold trimmings and accessories. This month’s event on July 29th will be held under the “Freestyle” theme and so all goes for the fashion endowed.

The Mirror Ball is brought to you by Tag Team and SOHO restaurant. It is sponsored by Mumm Champagne and supported by Starr 103.5fm.
