Veep Amissah-Arthur Buys Two (2) Kantanka Vehicles

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has taken delivery of two Kantanka vehicles.

The second gentleman of the land took delivery of the vehicles at Gomoa Mpota, the factory of the Made in Ghana vehicles yesterday. Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Kantanka Group, Owusu Bempah confirmed on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Wednesday that the Vice President drove into their factory and bought the vehicles.

He was said to have had a test drive in the Kantanka Omama vehicle before he bought two of the vehicles.

The purchase was in fulfillment of his promise to the Kantanka Group of Companies that he would be buying three of their Made in Ghana vehicles.  "When I met car maker Kwadwo Safo today, I told him that I am expecting to take delivery of three of his vehicles that I have placed an order for...," the Vice President announced on his Facebook wall on May 24, 2016.According to Owusu Bempah, veep drove off his vehicle as it is road worthy.

He further announced that the company now has three types of the vehicles available on the market - Kantanka Onantefour, Omama and Min-SUV.

The Onantefour cost GHC 89,000 while the Omana goes for GHC 75,000 and the Mini-SUV goes for 65,000.

He entreated Ghanaians to purchase the vehicles since there are trianed mechanics who can help fix them when they develop faults.
