Ghanaians Mourn Danny Nettey

Twitter and other social media platforms are awash with messages over the shocking death of sensational and award winning gospel artiste, Danny Nettey.

He died Friday dawn after being found unconscious around 2:00 am.

The sad news of his passing was confirmed to Joy News' Nhyira Addo by family members. According to him, he was bubbly hours before and had prayers with his family before retiring to bed only to be found unconscious later at dawn, and was pronounced dead by a doctor on arrival.

The ace musician did not make his mark in the gospel arena in Ghana alone but performed with international gospel greats like Ron Kenoly, Ron Winans, Don Moen, Alvin Slaughter among others.

He is known for his spirit-filled songs including I believe, Adom (by grace), My all 2 u, I am the Lord, I will never leave, It's not hard, Revive us, God's eyes on Africa, I will worship, Sanctify me, Hold on, In Your presence, and Thank you.

The late Danny Nettey, who touched the lives of people at all levels in society, has got Ghana pouring out their heart on social media to mourn his death.
