Joe Dodoo joins Rangers

The starlet will continue his development in Scotland after struggling for first team football with the Foxes.

Scottish outfit Rangers have completed the acquisition of Leicester City striker Joe Dodoo.

The youngster joins the Light Blues on a four-year deal, having run out his contract with the Premier League side.

"Rangers are today delighted to confirm the signing of attacker Joe Dodoo from English Premier League champions Leicester City on a four-year deal," the club announced.

"The 21-year-old winger, who can also play as a central striker, has been training with the Light Blues over the last week having made his breakthrough into Claudio Ranieri’s remarkable Leicester squad in the first half of last season."

Dodoo made one league appearance as the Foxes won the English topflight last season.

With three League Cup appearances, which yielded four goals, at Leicester as well, the frontman holds an impressive record of netting four times in four first team outings for Claudio Ranieri's men.

He becomes Rangers' ninth signing of the summer.

Born in Kumasi, Ghana, Dodoo has represented England at youth level, but has pledged his international future to the African nation.
