Presidential Aspirants & Their Running Mates Lives Matter - Police

The Director of Public Affairs at the Ghana Police Service says their main priority now is to give maximum security to all Presidential aspirants and their running mates prior to November 7, elections.

Superintendent Cephas Arthur speaking on NEAT FM’s Morning Show, Ghana Montie noted that the service has fulfilled its promise to protect the party’s flagbearers during their campaign tours.

According to him - IGP COP John Kudalor last week had a fruitful discussion with the party’s reps to finalize arrangement.

We promised to protect presidential candidates and their running mates and yes we [Police] have fulfilled our promise. The IGP promised maximum security and he has assigned four [4] armed police officers to each presidential aspirant and two [2] each to running mates,” he told host Kwesi Aboagye.

For now, NDC, NPP, PPP, GCPP, APC, NDP and Madam Akua Donkor’s party GFP have police escort to aid them during their campaign tours,” He added
