Dumsor Will Be Over By The End Of July - NDC Communicator

A leading of the ruling government says there will be "no more dumsor in the entire nation by the end of July".

Speaking on Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Member of the Government's Communication Team, Chief Hamilton Nixon-Biney stated emphatically the power crises will be over in this month because the government has procured some additional energy machinery to salvage the situation.

He also disclosed that the government has further purchased lots of crude oil to increase the energy capacity.

According to him, Ghanaians still feel the pinch of the energy problems only because the energy generators and suppliers are testing the new items and in so doing, there will be slight challenges.

He therefore urged energy consumers to bear with the government as it strives to fix the perennial problem.

Chief Biney was extremely positive that "we will have a relief, God willing, by the end of this month”, adding that should the energy situation still persist by the end of July, he would re-appear on Kokrokoo with a different view about the government.
