Hearts Coach Sergio Vows To Pile Misery On Rivals Kotoko Ahead Of Sunday's Cracker

Hearts coach Sergio Traguil is desperate to turn the heat up on rivals Kotoko ahead of their super clash in the Ghanaian top-flight on Sunday. The Porcupine Warriors are hoping to hunt down their sworn-rivals in the race for the Premier League crown with 10 games left to spare.

Michael Osei's men occupy 5th on the table, four adrift of the leaders ahead of the meeting of the two biggest Ghanaian clubs. Kotoko will cut the gap to only two if they manage to negotiate the tie against the 2000 African champions. But that ambition appears far-fetched with Hearts the most consistent team in the top-flight in recent times.

Kotoko have picked a single points from their last two games, with their 4-1 heavy defeat at Ebusua Dwarfs worsening matters for the side. Pressure is mounting on Kotoko coach Michael Osei, who was appointed in an interim capacity after the sacking of David Duncan.

But his opposite number Sergio Traguil says he will not have sympathy for the former New Edubiase assistant trainer.

“I knew of Kotoko before I came to this country, of course, news of their defeat brings me joy as they are contending for the title, and come Sunday I am going into the game to take all three points,” the 42-year-old said

Kotoko have enjoyed superiority over Hearts this season, beating them twice in Accra.
